Being such a huge Facebook fan, sorry I didn’t mention this earlier– Mashable is way too good at getting the scoop on social networking stories. The short story is that Facebook is allowing users to place “facebook this” icons (similar to the way people can “Digg” an article) on their content. That content can be shared on the facebook network. For more info, see Mashable’s post.

Is this a case of a web site trying to be too much (everything to everyone) or does it fit with facebook’s long term goals? I’m a little curious how they are going integrate this service within their existing social networking platform.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the logo (to the right).  It’s too large!! I’m guessing it’ll become just the “F” over time…
