This is an awesome commencement speech by Maria Shriver. Her primary message is to “Hit the pause button” when asked “what are you going to do” (and every one of the hundreds of iterations of that question).

My life has essentially been paused for 5 months since I left for Asia right after Christmas. I’m fortunate to have a bit of a financial cushion allowing me to take a break without worrying about living expenses for awhile, but the power of pausing and thinking through all your life options cannot be underestimated.
