This talk by Simon Sinek is worth watching.
I particular took notice of this quote from Simon:
In the military, they give medals to those who are willing to sacrifice themselves so others may gain. In business, we are willing to give bonuses to those who are willing to sacrifice others so we may gain.
We have it backwards.
