I’ve always loved this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt (check my quotes page):

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

I’m watching the Republican Debate right now on Fox News — yet all I hear is “Obama this” and “Obama that”, along with pointless bickering back and forth between Perry and Romney. I’m not really hearing any ideas actually discussed.
