I wrote about the growing number of startup incubators abroad over on Oh Hey World — but if you don’t want to test the international waters, go down to city hall and see if your city has a fund. I think the general strategy is good, though I question whether or not cities are going to invest enough money to turn their cities into real entrepreneurial hubs. My gut is most cities are going to dabble in this while it’s a hot topic, then abandon the programs down the line once they realize the program needs more than they can offer. Only time will tell.
