I just watched the 4 videos seen here with Matt and Jason from SliceHost. Really fascinating to hear them talk through starting the company, selling it to RackSpace, and then moving on to their next ventures.

There’s some great advice in the 4th video from Matt in the last few minutes:

Half the battle is just starting something and showing up.

So many people talk themselves out of everything. You can what if yourself to death. [don’t do this]

Start moving, start putting one foot in front of the other.

There aren’t shortcuts.

Show up and start working, and sometimes good things will happen.
